The Macurco Single-Gas Monitor Series is designed to continuously monitor the ambient environment and notify the user if the level of the target gas reaches the alarm set point for the monitor. The device is designed to operate for two years and then be disposed of according to local regulations. Oxygen (O2) has a normal concentration in the atmosphere of 20.9% volume. Oxygen can be reduced quickly by breathing and combustion. Oxygen may also be depleted due to dilution by other gases and by chemical absorption. Increased levels of oxygen (i.e. from storage tanks leaks) increases the flammability of any combustible matter.
Macurco Single-Gas Monitors are uniquely suitable for monitoring specific gases in potentially hazardous atmospheric conditions and are suitable for most industrial applications. They are light, intuitive in design, utilize large glove friendly buttons and are easy to use in the field.
