The G-40 base is designed for mounting 40, 4043 and 4046 model range detectors (e.g. DOR-40, DUR-4043) on a ceiling and for connecting detection lines to them. The base can be mounted in a PG-40 base attachment installed on suspension strands or in rooms where water vapour condensation is present on the ceiling. The base is equipped with an additional PG-7 sealing gland; this enables for it to become a suspended base. For mechanical protection of detector in the base is provided, made of steel wire, safety cover OZ-40.
