Batteries in the UL series use oxygen recombination technology, which provides for maintenance-free use. A PbCaSn alloy used in plate networks means for less gassing and less self-discharge. The battery case is made using an ABS material which increases the strength of the case, making it more durable. Silver plated copper terminals improve electrical conductivity.
